Seated With Love, Inc. ("Seated With Love", "we", "our", or "us") runs seatedwithlove.com and the Seated With Love apps (the "Service"). The Service is event planning software for venues, covering weddings and other events, with client planning portals, event websites, registries, and payments.
This policy covers venues and their staff, clients (such as couples and event hosts), guests invited to an event, and visitors to our website. When a venue or client adds information about their own clients or guests, we handle that information on their behalf.
Information you give us: account details (such as name and email), venue and business details, event details (such as floor plans, seating charts, questionnaires, and vendors), guest information entered by a client or venue (such as names, contact details, table assignments, and RSVP answers), photos and files, messages, registry items, and anything you send to support. Payment details go to our payment processor, Stripe; we do not store full card or bank account numbers.
Information collected automatically: log and device data (such as IP address, browser, and pages visited), how you use the Service, and information from cookies and similar technologies.
Information from others: a venue or client who adds you as a client, team member, or guest; Google, if you sign in with Google; and Stripe, for payment and payout status.
RSVP answers and health information. Clients can ask guests about meals, dietary needs, and accessibility. These answers may reveal health information. We process this information as necessary to provide event-planning services, and it is generally available only to the client, their venue, and service providers that process information on our behalf.
We do not sell personal information for money. We share information in these situations:
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand how the Service is used, the Meta Pixel to measure sign-ups from our ads, and affiliate tracking to credit purchases made through registry and product links.
Affiliate disclosure. When someone buys through a registry or product link, Seated With Love and the venue may earn a commission. This does not change the price the buyer pays.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser, use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, change your ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account, or email us to opt out.
Some features use artificial intelligence, such as registry search, the AI visualizer, and venue visibility reports. When you use one, the text, photos, or links you submit are sent to our AI providers (currently Google and Perplexity) to produce the result. We do not use your content to train our own AI models. Our AI providers process information according to their applicable terms and privacy practices.
If you are a guest and a client or venue added your information, the fastest way to update or remove it is to contact the person who invited you. You can also email us, and we will help.
Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, or Oregon), you may have additional rights, such as the right to know what we collect or to opt out of targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information for money, but some advertising cookies may count as "sharing" under certain state laws. You may contact us at help@seatedwithlove.com regarding applicable privacy choices. You can also use browser settings and available third-party privacy controls to limit certain cookies or advertising technologies.
To make a request, email help@seatedwithlove.com. We may need to verify your identity, and you may use an authorized agent. If we decline a request, you can ask us to reconsider. We will not treat you differently for using your privacy rights.
We keep information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify associated personal information, subject to limited exceptions such as legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, and financial-record retention requirements.
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them through accounts. A client's guest list may include children's names, which we use only to plan the event.
We are based in the United States. Information is stored and processed on cloud servers run by our service providers, which may be located in the United States or other countries. Information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the country where you live.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the date at the top, and for significant changes we may also notify you by email or in the app.
