Retailers pay a commission when a purchase comes to them through a partner. Couples already build registries as part of planning, so when the registry is built in the portal their venue gave them, that activity can be attributed to the venue. Seated With Love passes 30% of the eligible revenue back to the venue.
Does Seated With Love really share registry revenue with venues?
Yes. Venues receive 30% of eligible registry revenue from the registries their couples build, on both the free and the Pro plan, with no separate agreement to sign.
Does this cost couples or their guests anything?
No. Guests pay the same prices they would pay buying the same items anywhere else. The share comes from retailer revenue, not from a markup, so nobody planning a wedding pays more because their venue earns from it.
What does a venue have to do to earn it?
