Document sharing

What it does

• Holds the files for a booking with that booking, rather than in an email thread from four months ago.
• Takes whatever you need to share: contracts, timelines, vendor lists, parking passes, setup notes, floor plan printouts.
• Puts them in the client portal, open to your client at any hour without them asking you.
• Shares them through private links rather than public ones, so a file cannot be forwarded and left open on the internet.
• Gives every booking a Documents section from the start, ready for you to upload that client's files into.

How it works

1. Open the booking

   Go to the event the file belongs to. Documents are stored per event, so the contract for one wedding never turns up under another.

2. Upload the file

   Add the contract, timeline, vendor list, parking pass or setup notes. Any file type works, and you can upload as many as the booking needs.

3. Your client reads it whenever

   It appears in the Documents section of their portal straight away. They can open it at midnight the week of the event without emailing you first.

4. Clear out what is finished

   Remove a document that has been superseded, so your client is only ever looking at the current version.
